Time to Talk
"Painting a clearer picture of your Mental Health"
Welcome
to Time to Talk, a space designed to offer children and adults a calm, supportive environment where they can voice their worries and explore emotions through creative activities. Here, art therapy is combined with conversation, providing a unique approach to personal growth and emotional well-being.
Time to Talk also extends this support to adults, providing a break from daily routines in a peaceful atmosphere. Here, adults can reflect, regroup, and find new clarity. Group sessions foster open discussion, mutual support, and a sense of community, promoting shared experiences and connection. .
Hello,
I am Debbie Tipton, a nursery and primary school teacher with over 30 years of experience, dedicated to helping children overcome emotional and behavioural challenges. Through my degree in Learning and Technological Research, a Masters in Education, and diplomas in child counselling and art therapy, I bring a multifaceted approach to support children and young people.
My experience working with youth organizations, including the Scout movement and football teams, has deepened my understanding of the challenges and anxieties faced by today’s young people. I am passionate about ensuring that children have the opportunity to express their feelings in a safe, relaxed setting where their worries are heard and validated. Through talking and creative expression, I help them build strategies for handling future challenges confidently and calmly.
